Logan McIlwain

Logan McIlwain obtained a Masters of Social Work from Louisiana State University. While working at Children’s Behavior Health Services and the School Based Therapy Program, both associated with Capital Area Human Services District in Baton Rouge, Logan developed a strong clinical background. There he worked closely with children, adolescents, and families who experienced behavior and/or emotional problems, which provided the foundation for Logan to pursue a career as a clinician in private practice .

He has completed additional training in both Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Children as well Parent Management Training. Logan is also a Qualified Parenting Coordinator and Qualified Child Custody and Visitation Mediator in the State of Louisiana.

Primary areas of interest include: child, adolescent and young adult intervention strategies either individually or in a family setting. Logan also enjoys teaching parents behavior modification techniques for their children.
